Info About File Types

You will receive your finished logo in the following file types:

• .PNG file
• .JPEG file
• .EPS file

ABOUT PNG FILES

The PNG file that you will receive from me has a transparent background, so this is a great file type to use when you want to place your logo image over another image (for example placing a logo over a photo).

ABOUT JPEG FILES

JPEG files always have a colored background, in the case of your logo design, this will be a white background. JPEG files are mainly used for printing purposes.

ABOUT EPS ( VECTOR) FILES

The EPS file, or Vector file, that you will receive from me is created in Adobe Illustrator. This type of file can only be opened and used in Adobe Illustrator, so you might ask why I am giving it to you. Well, a vector file is a scalable file. That means that the logo image can be scaled to a larger size in Adobe Illustrator without losing quality. Should you want to use your logo image for a large product like a wall decal or a window sticker or whatever, the regular .PNG file (that is 5000 pixels wide) might not be sufficient size wise. In these cases the companies that sell these large products for branding will need the vector file to make the logo image fit their printing process.

*** Important Note: since I make my designs with Adobe software I am not able to provide you with a file type from other design software (like CoralDraw for example). I only had it happen once though, that a client wanted to print her design at a company that only worked with CoralDraw vector files.
